Duffy Boat Rental is an online platform that offers boat rentals in Australia.

The company has received $15 million from the NSW Government and says it has been able to help about 1,000 people in the last three years.

The website allows people to rent a boat for a minimum of $2,500.

The company is also one of the few online operators to offer a boat rental service in the South Australia capital, Adelaide, where about 50 people have signed up since the company began accepting new customers in late 2016.

When asked by Reuters if there was a limit to how many people could be accommodated on a boat, Mr Duffy said: “I think that would depend on the length of the boat and how long they wanted to stay there and whether there were boats that they wanted on the property.”

“The longer the boat is the more we’ll be able to accommodate people,” he added.

Duffy Boat Rentals is part of a global fleet of rental boats, owned by an Australian company, that are being offered for sale in the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and Victoria.

Renters are able to reserve a boat on the company’s website for as little as $5,000.

According to Mr Dyson, the company has been operating for the last eight years.

“We’ve been around for a long time and have grown from an idea of providing rental boats to one that’s very much a global platform that operates globally,” he said.

Mr Dyson said Duffy has already received around $40 million in funding from investors, including Google Ventures and Australian billionaire John Triggs.

“I would expect to see that grow significantly over the next two years and in the coming years we expect to be looking at new opportunities,” he explained.
